Description
This time I did not forget to create a nice landscape for the moons.
The moons are fully 3d, no skyboxes or whatsoever used. You can see that in the shadows, especially the one thrown from the bigger moon onto the smaller one, plus the shadows thrown by the hundreds of thousands particle-thingies onto the big moon.

that reminds me of the cloud-hack i wanted to code after i got crazy on that gpu-clouds paper (where the older picogen-pics are based on). that model would be a good start point, but getting it looking noisy, with some big and some small particles will be hard, i think.
of course, for a real dense and far-distant rings like the saturn's, the model would be cool, i guess.
