Frontline Reports, Pt. 1

While most of the time is wasted on configuring stuff and things to get this piece running, I slowly reach the point I targetted for the first release for this minimalistic GUI.

The tool of this topic is in the center, it is grayed out because a preview of the formula is shown. Have a look at it anyways: You can see a plethora of base-function-templates, that even make me point+click, and I hate the mouse, but this is really an improvement over hacking directly into the terminal.

As you can see there is syntax highlighting, which goes to the honour of the scintilla component and the wxWidgets binding "wxscintilla". Brace highlighting is a must, but not yet included, same for code-folding.

Later I am going to add a TreeView, which will make things easier to non-programmers.


Also included are all formulas from "Examples and Interesting Programs for mkheightmap" from [link] , so you can play with them, combine them, and freak around.

edit: update, find a small installer script at [link] , note that you have to run the script "install.sh" as root, and maybe, when logged in as root, you have to "chmod u+x install.sh", looking forward for your comments
